Kabul Express

There are many parts in Asia that have the most beautiful sites, but have been destroyed due to war and terrorist attacks. These are damaging the natural beauty of the continent, but Asia is still preserving its true colors for the travelers. Kabul Express is a travel film with a serious political topic which is craftily treated with humor and showing the real situation and site around the Asian cities which have been affected due to war. In this movie you are taken through the insecure circumstances in the countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan created by the Taliban.A sober journalist Suhel Khan and a good humored cameraman Jai Kapoor are the central characters from India who are asked to cover the present situation of Afghanistan after the invasion of the American military troops.

Both of them reach Kabul which is the capital of Afghanistan with a great history of culture and religion. The streets are very small and congested, but can be visited for Bibi Mahro Park, Bagh-e Babur and also Abdul Rahman Mosque which is the largest in Afghanistan. They decide to take a tour of the country in a taxi. Khan and Jai travel to various villages in Afghanistan where Ishtar is one place they stop at with their taxi driver.

In the journey both are joined by Jessica Beckham who is an ABC News reporter and also a Taliban official Imran Khan who forces them to move to the Pakistan border. The movie takes you through the various unknown places in the country of Afghanistan which had once become a war place. Now the situation has improved a lot and the civilian life has become very stable. The architecture and religious places are one of a kind in Afghanistan. The rest of the story is how Khan and Jai rescue from Taliban’s reach which is included with some breathtaking situations. A glimpse of Pakistan border can be viewed in the last part of the movie.

There are very few commercial films that depict real Afghanistan and portray the relation between Pakistan and the Taliban. Kabul Express is the best travel film that shows you the real places in Afghanistan.
