Very few places in the world pack the punch of Europe. Starting from its Northern line to the Southern shores this drama queen is wrapped with surprise, thrill and even confusion. This continent is a combination of extraordinary sights, people, sounds and parties. European Vacation is a movie that gives the feel of Europe. European Vacation is a travel film that spells the magic of Europe on the viewers.In this movie a family named Griswold consisting of the characters Clark, Rusty, Audrey and Ellen wins a game show “Pig in a Poke”. By winning this game show, they get a trip to Europe for all as the prize. The show organizers decide the destinations in Europe and the entire family sets on for the trip. Their first destination is London where they have to stay in small hotel.
The Griswold’s go on to explore England, the first being the Big Ben which is the third tallest clock tower on earth, then they travel to the Parliament and even the Buckingham Palace which is the residence of British Monarch located in the city of Westminster. By this time Audrey is missing her boyfriend Jack and wants to go back to meet him. Unaware of the family feelings Clark continues to take his family to place like Stonehenge which is a historical monument in the county of Wiltshire. This monument is a circular arrangement of huge rectangular stones which is one of the most famous places in the world.
The Griswold’s family trip then takes off to Paris, France where Clark asks a French man to tape the family near a water fountain. The French Man steals the camera in which there were some private videos. Paris is a romantic city and Eiffel Tower is the first place that comes in mind when talking about romantic destinations. The Griswold’s visit the Eiffel Tower and then the Musee De Louvre which has the best collection of decorative arts since the middle age. As Audrey is moving around Europe, her boyfriend is dating her best friend Debbie.Unknown about this, Audrey and her family move to the next stop which is Germany. Here they come to visit their long relatives Helga and Fritz where they end up in to the wrong house. Griswold’s then join a festival in Germany where Clark has a fight and they leave the place. They then travel in Rome and end up in some problems which leads to even kidnapping of Ellen and the rest of the story is how the Griswold’s family rescues Ellen in Rome from the kidnappers.
The movie gives a splendid feeling about the continents wealthy sights and if you personally want to feel it, then go on and explore it.
